Random life stuff that no one really cares about.

I have now been recruited into a group that does investigations of the paranormal. Wtf? It's not that I don't believe in the paranormal. Actually, I don't know if I do. I never really gave it much thought or care before. I'm atheist. I don't believe in any god or angels or any of that. But I know that ghosts and apparitions and stuff could exist, I just don't know if they do. And I might believe it more if I ever experienced anything that would tell me they do. But this so isn't me. I've never been one to go investigate anything. The only type of experimentation I do is labs in chem. These people that created the group are only sort of my friends. They are really into this stuff and are already planning an investigation of an old military fort. And ordering equipment (it's expensive, too!). I originally said yes to joining to be nice to a friend, and now I'm part of this group? Wtf?


Just watched The Secret Life of Bees. It' so good. I read the book 5 or 6 years ago and loved it, but I forgot a lot of it. I had a 15 minute argument with my dad after her said it was ridiculously sympathetic toward blacks during the civil rights movement. Uh, no Dad, they really were treated like that in the 60's. Ugh.


I just have to say, Jennifer Beals is the hottest woman ever. Seriously.
